The global industrial robotics market is estimated to surpass US$96bn (£73bn) by the end of 2028, according to a new market research report by Future Market Insights.
RightHand Robotics, a data-driven, autonomous robotic picking solutions provider for order fulfilment, has secured US$66m (£49.5m) in Series C financing which it will use to grow both its product portfolio, partner network and team.
Scania will invest more than SEK1bn (£81m) in the facility over several years and the new Södertälje plant is expected to be fully operational by 2023.

China’s aluminium production in 28 days of February 2022 reflected a positive trend with a daily average output of 105,000 tonnes, up by 2,000 tonnes from 103,000 tonnes a month earlier. Total production in the month came in at 2.95 million tonnes versus 3.204 million tonnes in January (31 days).
