La red social educativa Tiching fortalece su presencia en países de habla hispana con su implementación en Venezuela, Guatemala, Ecuador, El Salvador, República Dominicana, Cuba, Bolivia, Honduras, Paraguay, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Uruguay y Panamá. Estos 13 nuevos países se unen a España, México, Colombia, Chile, Perú y Argentina, en los que Tiching ya estaba presente desde el lanzamiento de la plataforma, en noviembre de 2011.

But a new GE study titled the Age of Gas says that gas is back and becoming a focal point of global energy supply and demand. “Natural gas… is positioned to rival coal consumption as well as take share from oil on the global stage,” say the study’s authors Peter C. Honda says it has found a way to improve the efficiency of hybrids—and in all likelihood significantly lower the cost to build them. For its new Honda Accord Hybrid, which goes on sale across the U.S. at the end of the month, it’s done away with the car’s transmission.
Hybrids could help automakers meet fuel economy regulations, but their sales are limited by high costs, which are as much as $5,000 more than conventional cars. It may eventually be possible to reduce the price gap to zero, according to a spokesperson from Honda.
