Seismologists suspect earthquake on San Andreas Fault is imminent despite odd attenuation parameters

VARTA expands its research capacities with new facility in Graz

VARTA AG is further expanding its capacities for the research and development of next-generation batteries. With the expansion of VARTA Innovation, one of the most modern research facilities for battery technology in Europe is being created at the Graz (Austria) site. The work is nearing completion. In future, the latest technologies for a wide range of applications, from the Internet of Things (IoT) to the automotive sector, will be developed on an area of around 3,500 square metres. Full operation is scheduled for the beginning of the second quarter of 2024.

Annual General Meeting of AB SKF

The Annual General Meeting of Aktiebolaget SKF was held on Tuesday, 26 March 2024.

The income statements and the balance sheets were adopted, together with the Board’s proposal for distribution of dividend. A dividend of SEK 7.50 per share was approved. To be entitled to receive the dividend, shareholders must be recorded in the share register on Thursday, 28 March 2024.

The Board members and the CEO were discharged from liability for their administration of the company for the financial year 2023.
