Ryerson Reports Record Yearly Income

Chicago-based Ryerson Holding Corporation generated a record $391 million in net income in 2022, a 32.9 percent increase from the prior year. The earnings came despite a $24.1 million loss in the fourth quarter, driven by $5.3 million in reorganization costs, as well as relocation expense for the company's new Centralia service center.

Full-year net sales totaled $6.3 billion, up 11.4 percent compared with the prior year. Fourth-qaurter net sales dipped 16.5 percent to $1.3 billion.
