Major deliveries of military material and extensive logistical support make Rheinmetall Ukraine's most important defence industry partner in the fight against Russian aggression. The company and Ukraine, represented by the Minister for Strategic Industries, Oleksandr Kamyshin, signed a memorandum of understanding to expand their strategic cooperation during the "Ukraine Recovery Conference 2024" in Berlin.
Rheinmetall has been given the largest order in the company`s history concerning logistic vehicles by the Bundeswehr. The framework-contract was now signed in Koblenz and incorporates the delivery of up to 6,500 military trucks, valued up to €3.5bn incl. VAT.
The Duesseldorf-based technology group Rheinmetall has received a framework contract from the Bundeswehr for the delivery of 155mm artillery ammunition worth up to €8.5 billion gross. The contract was signed on 20 June 2024 by Annette Lehnigk-Emden, President of the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw), and representatives of Rheinmetall in Koblenz at the office’s headquarters.
