Ford to build new EV and battery plants in Tennessee & Kentucky; $11.4B total investment in two mega-sites; 129 GWh/year total

Ford Motor Company will build two new massive, environmentally and technologically advanced campuses in Tennessee and Kentucky that will produce the next generation of electric F-Series trucks and the batteries to power future electric Ford and Lincoln vehicles. Three new BlueOvalSK battery plants—two at the Kentucky mega-site and one in Tennessee—will enable 129 GWh a year of US battery production capacity for Ford.
