BSH has its new CEO: the role will be of Matthias Metz from October 1, 2022, who will take the place of Carla Kriwet who lives the company. In this capacity, Metz will be responsible for the global business of the home appliance manufacturer with more than 62,000 employees and a global production network of 40 factories worldwide.
Lars Schubert, currently chief technology officer and member of the Board of management of BSH in China, will join the Board of management of BSH Hausgeräte GmbH and will cover the position of chief operating officer (COO) on April 1, 2022, succeeding Silke Maurer, who is leaving the company. As chief operating officer (COO), Schubert will be responsible for manufacturing, development, innovation, corporate technology and global supply chain management.
