La administración concursal de la empresa TS Fundiciones ha enviado un informe al juzgado en el que se decanta por adjudicar la planta de Zestoa a la empresa Euskapital Partners, encabezada por un exdirectivo de la fundición, según ha informado el sindicato ELA.
TS Fundiciones se encuentra en concurso de acreedores desde noviembre de 2013 y tres empresas se han interesado por hacerse con la factoría: la citada Euskapital Partners, la sociedad Gonvarri Renewable Industries, y una fundición alemana, Eisengiesserei-torgelow.

No doubt you’ve guessed it’s none of the above. Starbucks has emerged as the runaway leader in mobile payments at retail stores. Twelve million active users now pay for their Frappuccino with a wave of a phone. Of the $1.6 billion spent via smartphone in U.S. stores in 2013, the company claims, a full 90 percent went to Starbucks, and most payments experts don’t doubt it.

In the US alone, someone dies every 19 minutes because of medication non-adherence – reason enough for an app like MediSafe, said Omri Shor, who along with his brother Rotem developed the app after his father accidentally double-dosed on insulin and suffered an emergency. So valuable is MediSafe’s technology that the company in 2014 won Qualcomm’s fourth annual innovation QPrize, collecting a total of $250,000 in prizes.
Amazon does not break out Amazon Web Services revenue on its own. But Amazon’s “other” revenue for North America — including AWS as well as advertising services and co-branded credit card agreements — came in at $1.67 billion for the fourth quarter of 2014.
The year-to-year revenue growth rate for that figure is 43 percent.

AutoBot, a Beijing startup that makes diagnostic tools for cars (not the robots in disguise), has raised a $6 million Series A from Gobi Partners and ABC Capital. The company will use the funding for marketing, hiring and product research and development.
AutoBot’s main product is the AutoBot Mini OBD (on-board diagnostic) device, which users can plug into their car’s OBD-II outlet or cigarette lighter. It then collects and analyzes data about how the car is performing and if repairs are needed; users’ driving habits; fuel consumption; and car maintenance, among other things.
