La nueva planta de Campofrío en Burgos costará 225 millones de euros, tendrá una superficie de 97.000 metros cuadrados y se abrirá en noviembre del 2016, ha informado en el acto el director general de la multinacional para el sur de Europa, Ignacio González.
La inversión superará en diez millones la prevista en el proyecto inicial, presentado hace unos meses, y la superficie se incrementará en 18.000 metros cuadrados.
González ha asegurado que la empresa mantiene su intención de abrir la nueva factoría el 16 de noviembre de 2016, cuando se cumplirán dos años del incendio que arrasó su antigua planta.
