Household appliances still showing growth opportunities in 2022, despite growing crisis mood

The global market for small and large household appliances recorded a moderate first half of 2022. Small appliance sales dropped 6 percent from January to June 2022 and large appliances dropped 2 percent. This is compared to the same period last year, which experienced record highs. GfK is also forecasting a low single-digit decline in overall sales for the full year 2022, but still close to the highs of the past year.
