Nucor Corporation (NYSE: NUE) announced a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for 250 megawatts of renewable energy from Sebree Solar, LLC, a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources, LLC. Sebree Solar is an innovative two-phase solar project in Henderson County, Kentucky, which will have a capacity of up to 400 megawatts of American-produced energy. The project's first phase – Sebree Solar I – is set to begin construction in Fall 2023.
Tata Steel Nederland has appointed Gunilla Saltin as Managing Director of the company’s Downstream business and a Member of the Board of Management, effective from November 1st, 2023. She is taking over this role from Tom Eussen, who became Managing Director Tata Steel IJmuiden in October 2022.
With Gunilla’s appointment, Tata Steel Nederland’s Board of Management expands to four members and consists of Hans van den Berg (CEO), Martijn Plaum (CFO), Tom Eussen (Tata Steel IJmuiden), and Gunilla Saltin (Downstream).

International technology group ANDRITZ has received an order from ArcelorMittal, France, to supply a reversible 6-high cold-rolling mill for processing high grade non-oriented silicon steel strip (NGO) for use in electric motors.
