For decades, people with diabetes have relied on finger pricks to withdraw blood or adhesive microneedles to measure and manage their glucose levels. In addition to being painful, these methods can cause itching, inflammation and infection.

International technology group ANDRITZ has received an order from Salzgitter Flachstahl, Salzgitter, Germany, to supply a new pickling section for the existing push pickling line designed for heavy-duty steel grades.

The line was supplied by ANDRITZ in 1992 and has been operating successfully ever since. The new process equipment will ensure continued reliable operation and increase the line’s efficiency. Start-up is scheduled for mid-2025.

She wasn't content for the automaker to just survive the new technology-driven era for transportation; it needed to be a leader.
